Course highlights

The art design boutique course workshop combines the curriculum settings of top art colleges such as the Royal College of Art, University of the Arts London, Architectural Association School of Architecture, etc. It starts with a small class entirely designed teaching.

 

We aim to cultivate students' practical ability and the expansion of innovative thinking, to understand, think and explore the multicultural content of art design comprehensively. The course includes "Lecture + Tutorial + Workshop + Presentation" and group discussion, aiming at training students' comprehensive ability.

Course Introduction

  • Draping is a fashion design technique preferred by many well-known fashion designers. Its flexibility and experimentation open up more possibilities in the design industry.

  • Through this course, students will learn the basic knowledge of draping and how to use draping as a concept visualization technique.

  • You will use paper, calico, and specific fabrics to make mannequins during the course study. 

  • Students can turn their sketches into a three-dimensional visualization project.

  • At the end of the final course, students will not only obtain a complete 3D portfolio through the study of Draping technology but also have a deeper understanding of clothing design.
