Portfolio counselling process
Step 1 Portfolio Evaluation
For students who contact GALATEA for the first time, our teaching team will make a professional evaluation based on their art direction, current works, and learning situation. They will issue a detailed evaluation report which objectively reflects their art foundation and suitable direction and formulate a specific curriculum planning scheme.
Step 2 Curriculum Project Planning
The first lesson will be conducted after accurately matching the 1-to-1 tutors. The teaching supervisor, design tutor, and students will communicate together to deeply explore the students’ interests and expertise, determine the artistic direction, customize the most accurate and efficient portfolio planning scheme, and accurately grasp the style of the portfolio for planning combined with the topics in school.
Step 3 Basic Course Training and Improvement
The curriculum project planning will carry out the training and improvement of introductory courses and skills in the professional direction of the art design, focusing on cultivating students' independent thinking and autonomous learning ability. They will encourage students to form interdisciplinary thinking and lead students to deeply develop their creative potential.
Step 4 Portfolio Project Promotion
GALATEA's art design portfolio tutorial is provided in a multi-to-one teaching configuration (online professional tutors for overseas students + offline technical tutors) to provide complete guidance and supervision to each student. The educational administration supervisor, professional tutors, and educational administration teachers will follow up and control the whole process around the students to ensure that students can find their clear project ideas, objectives, and high-quality output works.
Step 5 Quality Feedback in Stage
In the project process, the GALATEA team will reasonably control the students learning progress from time, class hours, quality of work, etc., and follow up in real-time. Both teachers and students will jointly provide feedback. The team will listen to the students' opinions on time and make corresponding teaching adjustments.
Step 6 Final Review
After completing the portfolio, the overseas tutor or the exclusive teaching supervisor will conduct the final review of the portfolio, correct the details of the portfolio, check the omissions and fill in the gaps, and ensure the quality of the portfolio and the document.
