Course highlights
The art design boutique course workshop combines the curriculum settings of top art colleges such as the Royal College of Art, University of the Arts London, Architectural Association School of Architecture, etc. It starts with a small class entirely designed teaching.
We aim to cultivate students' practical ability and the expansion of innovative thinking, to understand, think and explore the multicultural content of art design comprehensively. The course includes "Lecture + Tutorial + Workshop + Presentation" and group discussion, aiming at training students' comprehensive ability.

Understand the application of traditional techniques such as tie-dyeing, denim, and old-fashioning in modern design.

Learn to use transformation techniques and create new design methods.

Improve the sensitivity to colors and proportions and assist in better creating different professions.
Curriculum Provision
LECTURE

Understand the traditional printing and dyeing technology and culture of the East and the West.

Learn the cultural or functional characteristics represented by different color styles in clothing.

Use simple printing and dyeing techniques to create a unique garment.
WORKSHOP/Free Creation

The studio provides white T-shirts, and students can also bring their old T-shirts or socks (mainly black and white) and tie-dye a unique dress by dyeing and bleaching.

Make some simple changes to the clothing or do simple graffiti with a marker before tie-dyeing.
LECTURE

History and culture of repairing clothes (mainly in the East / supplemented by the West): How people repair worn-out clothes and generate new aesthetic styles under different cultural and historical backgrounds.

Sample display: The history and culture of denim, jeans' washing, and distressing methods.

Discussion on the old and new and modern aesthetics of clothing.
WORKSHOP/Free Creation

Students will bring their own eliminated clothes (baseball caps, scarves, mainly tooling styles), or they can also combine the works of the last tie-dyeing course to give new life to the clothes through abrasion, manual patching, manual embroidery, and so on.
