Professional description
MAJOR DESCRIPTION
The development of pure art is very diverse and complex. From the perspective of media, pure art majors include painting, print media, sculpture installation, photography, dynamic video, experimental film, performance art, and many other categories. New media art, immersive interactive art, and disciplines in the field of architecture also have a lot of intersection with Pure Art.
The pure art major emphasizes ideological, critical, avant-garde and present, and then independently creates through various media. Pure art is mainly spiritual. Although it uses material materials, these materials are only the basis for the construction of artistic images and increase the appeal of art. Pure art works should more embody the essence of art.

EMPLOYMENT PROSPECTS

Many students who graduated from pure art majors have become independent artists and critics who are active at the moment, signed contracts with domestic galleries, and maintained frequent contact with curators. You can even work in cross-border cooperation in various art and design industries, such as the fashion industry, new media industry, and illustration industry. Many graduates have succeeded in working in the studio, including the four artists in the Shachi series of British art in the recent Nineties exhibition, and the Turner Prize nominee Cathy de Monchaux. There is also a part of the population devoted to the education industry, teaching in universities and continuing to conduct academic research.
